ABOUT BUNDABERG
Leon has spent most of his life on or around water, as a child he grew up fishing and skiing with his family.
In 1985 Leon commenced a career with Lady Musgrave Cruises a day trip operation carry up to 150 passengers to Lady Musgrave island (51 nauticals miles from bundaberg) on a 24 metre vessel with the love of the water and people, Leon worked his way to become Master of this Vessel, also doing whale watching cruises. Leon stayed with Lady Musgrave Cruses for eight and a half years before taking time out to travel and see some of Australia on working holiday with his partner.
On returning to Bundaberg Leon commenced a career with the Bundaberg Port Authority driving the tug and pilot boats with the years of experience and the love of people Leon joined Australian Boating College and found he was in his element sharing his knowledge with his students.
Along with jane they work as a team to help each and every student
obtain their boat or jet ski licence. Seeing the smile on students faces at the end of day is the biggest reward.
