NOOSA COURSES

Boat Licence  Courses

• We offer one day boat licence courses on week ends and also mid weeks.
• No prior experience or knowledge is necessary.
• Courses suitable for all boaties (including skiers), jet skiers, yachties &
   houseboat owners.
• Course includes both theory & practical training conducted on our commercially
   registered vessel.
• Courses start at 7am & conclude approximately at 2.30pm.
• The Training Room is fully equipped & air conditioned.
• Tea, coffee and cold drinks are provided along with a delicious home baked morning   
   tea.
• We do not require you to complete any reading or pre study prior to attending the
   course. However if you wish to you can take advantage of our free pre study option.
• The boat licence theory course is available as a flexible learning package for those who    can't attend a classroom course due to work or family commitments.
 

Personal Water Craft (PWC or jet ski) Courses

 Can be completed on the same day as your boat licence course or at a later time.
No prior experience or knowledge is necessary.
PWC licences can be arranged at a mutually convenient time 7 days a week and only take an hour or two of your time if you already hold a boat licence.
There are two components to obtaining your PWC licence.

The theory consists of multiple choice questions. You can study for this by viewing our PWC study material.

  • The practical can be completed on your own PWC or we can organize one for you.

Training Vessel

5.8m Quintrex , 115HP 4 stroke motor, Bimini and weather covers (this vessel is ideally suited to all weather licence training) Surveyed to 7 people.
 




First Aid & CPR Courses

  • • We offer a half day First Aid course including CPR.
  • • On line theory is completed prior to attending the face to face course.
  • • Go to www.abcfirstaidcourse.com.au for more information or to complete the
    online theory.
  • • CPR only is a 2.5 hour course.
  • • Courses available 7 days a week (evenings are also available).
  • • Fully equipped air conditioned Training Room or we can come to your place of business to conduct a course.
  • • Tea, coffee & cold drinks are provided along with a delicious home baked morning tea.
     



Other Courses
  • • Private courses tailored to suit your needs (group / solo)
  • • Practical boat handling for children through to advanced boaties.
  • • Bar crossing and off shore boat handling.
  • • Concessions available on school and community group bookings.
  • • Marine radio courses
     

Custom Courses

What about some individual training in your vessel?  If you've just begun boating, having a commercial instructor spend a half day with you to go through everything  - from how to back your trailer, and launch and retrieve your boat, to using your own marine radio and electronics, might be just what you need.

It's a great way to safely expand your knowledge in a short time frame, so you can get on with it and make the most of your boating. Jim is happy to come aboard your vessel to assist with anything you would like further training with.
